5K Run & Walk

On Saturday, May 16 at Washburn Field at Colorado College, over 220 runners and walkers joined coaches Fisher DeBerry and Troy Calhoun for the Sixth Annual Fisher DeBerry Foundation 5K Run & Walk, Presented by CiCi’s Pizza.

During the post-race ceremonies, we were proud to award grants from the Fisher DeBerry Foundation; presented to the Southern Colorado Fellowship of Christian Athletes, The Home Front Cares and Single Parent Family Ministry. This grant money will help children from single-parent families go to summer camps that they would not otherwise have been able to attend.

This event would not have been possible without the combined efforts and contributions from so many of our friends in the community. And a special Thank-You to our sponsors for their generous donations, as well as our emcee, Lee Douglas of News First 5 & 30.
